Direct communication strategy to earn coverage of key business and community initiatives, and events for the Seattle Seahawks. Collaborate with internal business operations stakeholders to promote community, corporate partner, stadium and fan experience initiatives, creating awareness with sports and business media across a wide range of news and communications mediums.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strong working relationships with department heads in Community, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Ticketing, First & Goal and other fan engagement groups to identify stories and promote communication.
Create and execute proactive media strategies and develop communication plans to secure, influence and amplify coverage across sports and business media via a wide range of news and communications mediums.
Develop clear, concise and consistent messaging and positioning for key business and community initiatives via strategic communications advice and counsel.
Cultivate working relationships with key media outlets, writers, contributors and influencers reaching identified target audiences.
Work with senior leadership to identify key target audiences to be reached with strategic outreach and communications.
Develop presentations, speeches and messaging for senior management.
