Post-Show Panel set to include Louise Chernin, GSBA President & CEO – Queerness and Judaism:
God of Vengeance by Sholem Asch portrayed the first kiss between two women on the Broadway stage, which was also between two Jewish characters. This interplay of identities made conversations and controversies around the play complex. Join community members and leaders in a conversation about the intersectionality of the Jewish and LGBTQ+ identities. How welcome are LGBTQ+ folks in Jewish spaces and via versa? And how do we create safe spaces for these intersectional identities?
Tickets are limited. Be sure to RSVP for this FREE event ASAP, for you and a guest.
This being our inaugural Hospitality & Tourism networking event, GSBA hopes to make it a great success, with exciting theatrical opportunities to follow all year long. Future Theatrically "Out & About" events are in the works for 2019 and 2020, so stay tuned to mark your calendars for those as well.
