Charles has nearly 20 years of experience in hospitality design on both coasts, with prolific restaurant and retail design experience. He is passionate about storytelling in design because telling a good story is at the core of great hospitality design. In addition to his design work at Board & Vellum, Charles hosts the Design Goggles podcast, focusing on the evolution of the world around us through the lens of Architecture, Graphic Design and more.

Originally from Hawaii via upstate New York, Chris has lived in Seattle since 2017. He is a new member of the GSBA and became a member via attending the Young Professionals with Pride events. Chris currently works at Board & Vellum working on a variety of low-rise multifamily, single family, and commercial TI projects and in his 10 year career has worked on a variety of project types, some of which include, retail, cafes, and libraries.

Nathan is a long term GSBA member and a commercial broker at Ewing & Clark, Inc. Nathan works with all aspects of commercial real estate including restaurant, nightclub, and retail sales and leasing, as well as re-development opportunities. He is also a small business owner and is currently a partner in Union on Capitol Hill. Previously he was partner in Thumper’s for over 20 years, as well as the Inside Passage.
