have partnered to present the fourth annual GSBA Business Matchmaker! This event (FREE for GSBA Members!) will connect certified small business owners with corporate and government entities that are eager to build a diverse supply chain. The GSBA Business Matchmaker is the largest event of its kind on the west coast.
All minority-owned businesses who are eligible for certification or already certified are welcome and encouraged to attend this comprehensive supplier diversity bootcamp, including LGBTQ-owned, women-owned, African American-owned, Hispanic American-owned, Asian American-owned, disAbled-owned, and veteran-owned businesses.
Our signature GSBA Fast Pitch Competition is open to all GSBA Member Businesses that are LGBTQ-owned.

Gladys Gillis (She/her)
A seasoned and motivated leader, Gladys Gillis has built a multi-million dollar passenger transportation enterprise, The Starline Collection, across Washington State. The Starline Collection currently includes Starline Luxury Coaches in Seattle, Wheatland Express in Pullman and A&A Motorcoach in Yakima, Tri-Cities and Wenatchee. Gladys is currently engaged in expanding the Starline Collection across Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Nevada. Recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as a Women of Influence in 2016, Gladys’ civic involvement includes being a Board member of the GSBA Washington’ LGBTQ & Allied Chamber, Central Washington University Foundation and Vice-Chair of the United Motorcoach Association in Washington, D.C.
Roby Schapira (He/him)
Roby Schapira is Wells Fargo’s Small Business Leader for National Field Initiatives. In this role, Schapira leads programs that build their bankers skills and focus on serving small business customers. A 20-year Wells Fargo veteran, Schapira has been in his current role since 2012 and began his career in 1998 as a part-time teller in Scottsdale, Arizona. Schapira holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona, and in 2013 graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. He is the member of the Corporate Advisory Board for the GSBA, and past president of the Albuquerque Public Schools Education Foundation.
