It's not just the presidential race on your ballot in November. As usual, Washingtonians will be asked to weigh in on a variety of other issues, from healthcare to transportation to education. These votes are very consequential and could have important impacts in your community.
Confirmed campaigns in attendance include:

Approve Referendum 90 - Safe & Healthy Youth WA
Approving this referendum would maintain Washington's comprehensive and inclusive sex education program as passed by the legislature in 2020. GSBA endorsed this bill in Olympia, and continues to support it on the ballot. Read more about

King County Prop. 1 - Harboview Health For All
This capital bond improvement measure will provide health and safety improvements at Harboview - our region's only Trauma 1 center - including increasing critical healthcare capacity, updating and expanding modern infection control standards, and expanding capacity for behavioral health needs.

Seattle Prop. 1 - Transportation Benefit District
This Seattle-specific ballot measure renews the existing transportation benefit district.

The general election is on November 3, and there are hundreds of candidates running at every level who are looking to share their visions for communities all around the state. In this monthly series, GSBA will bring together GSBA members, candidates, campaign leaders, and political experts to talk about the big issues that can be influenced at the ballot box in coming months. Join us every third Monday of the month and on other special occasions for this free online series.
