One of GSBA's top legislative priorities is the repeal or amendment of Initiative 200. We are hosting State Senator Rebecca Saldaña (37th District, Southeast Seattle), State Senator Marko Liias (21st District, Mukilteo & Edmonds) and State Representative Javier Valdez (46th District, Northeast Seattle) to talk about their strategies for ending the harmful effects of this Initiative, especially on women and minority government contractors.

Read a blog post from GSBA intern Tran Dinh on the impacts of I-200.

Attendance is free and open to all GSBA members. Please note that the time of this meeting is NOT the standard Public Policy Task Force day or time.

Please contact Matt Landers, GSBA Public Policy and Communications Manager for more information and to register for this event.
