On June 2 at 10:30 AM, join GSBA at the Sheraton Grand Seattle for our annual Pride Luncheon & Pop-Up Market. This signature event highlights LGBTQ+ vendors and local entrepreneurs, creating space to shop, connect, and invest in the businesses shaping our region.

TomboyX

Fran Dunaway is the co-founder of TomboyX, the Seattle-based underwear and loungewear brand known for rethinking comfort, fit, and inclusion. She launched the company in 2013 with her wife and co-founder, Naomi Gonzalez, and helped grow it from a passion project into a nationally recognized brand after the breakout success of their first boxer brief.

A former media executive turned fashion entrepreneur, Fran has led TomboyX with the belief that business can be a force for positive change. The company has appeared on Inc. Magazine’s 5000 fastest-growing companies list four times, and Fran was named to Forbes’ 50 Over 50 list in 2021.

After stepping away from the business in 2022, Fran returned last year to lead a financing round and take back control of the company, positioning TomboyX for its next era of growth and impact.

Fran brings to every conversation a founder’s perspective on leadership, resilience, brand purpose, and building companies that challenge convention while creating real cultural change.
