Are you an LGBTQ or allied young professional looking for ways to get involved in the community and to expand your professional and social networks?

Young Professionals with Pride (YPP) is for you!

YPP is a community networking group for LGBTQ and allied young professionals. We create an intentional space for young folks of all identities to connect, network, learn, and grow as professionals and people. We are a program of GSBA, North America's largest LGBTQ and allied chamber of commerce.

This October, we're back at The Collective in South Lake Union. This is the last YPP event of the year! You don't want to miss it.

🌃 Extended event hours

5:30 - 8:30pm | Official YPP program
8:30 - 10:00pm | Venue remains open for socializing, drinks, and food

October's YPP program will run from 5:30 - 8:30pm. Our generous venue, The Collective, will remain open until 10:00pm, along with their full kitchen and bar. Plus? Enjoy a one free drink on The Collective after the official program has concluded. DJ Mixx America will keep spinning until 10:00pm.

🍦 Food, drinks, and ice cream

We'll have bites, drinks by Diagieo, and ice cream by GSBA member Sweet Bumpas.

❓ Trivia by Foundation

Enjoy variety trivia brought to you by Jordan Lyon of Foundation. Foundation works to be a beacon of real community—to bring people together and build lasting relationships around the things we have in common, not the things that make us different.

👻 Costume Contest: $1 to enter

We know. It's the day before Halloween. Which means instead of pretending you hate fun and don't have a costume you've been working on since July, you should wear your costume to YPP instead!

To enter the contest, donate $1 to either the GSBA Scholarship Fund, the Anti-Defamation League, or Food Lifeline at the event. We'll choose a winner at the end of the night!

We want to see your creativity, your glitter, and your commitment. We don't want to see cultural appropriation, your costumes that are inappropriate for a professional networking event, or your costumes that are just an excuse to make fun of or trivialize identities or experiences. Questions? Email us at Office@theGSBA.org.

How do you define 'young professionals'?

Ages 21-39, LGBTQ and allied people. We are welcoming to all identities, backgrounds, and professions.

Questions?

About YPP

Young Professionals with Pride (YPP) events are an excellent way to meet civic and community leaders, build relationships with other LGBT and allied professionals (21-39), and to take advantage of opportunities to increase personal and professional networks through social, educational, and philanthropic activities.

YPP is open to all industries, from tech to corporate to the nonprofit sector, all are welcome!

A priority of YPP is to be inclusive of everyone’s professional experiences and to build bridges between all identities of the LGBTQ and allied communities.

About The Collective

What is The Collective? - A brand new urban basecamp for the mind, body and soul. A vibrant, members-only community in the heart of South Lake Union that merges all of the different neighborhoods and personalities of Seattle. At The Collective, bouldering, food, drink, art, music, and collaborative zones create a space for comfort and community, positive impact, creative collisions and peak experiences. We are a diverse community of members who thrive on adventure, shared ideas and purpose. We believe that genuine relationships and social capital can be built around the common goal of improving our world.
