About the Neighborhood
Capitol Hill has the highest concentration of small businesses in Washington State. It is home to hundreds of small businesses including some of Seattle’s best restaurants and shopping.
This neighborhood is one of the city’s most economically and culturally important business districts, as well as Seattle’s historic epicenter for the LGBTQ business and residential community.

Quarterly in-person networking opportunities where civic and community engagement intertwine. These gatherings bring Capitol Hill business owners and operators together to strengthen connections and collaboration. Annual HillTalks include a Civic Engagement reception with primary election candidates and a Who’s Who on Capitol Hill event highlighting major neighborhood organizations and initiatives.
