Where Business Experience Meets Public Policy
The GSBA Policy Council serves as our central forum for discussing the public policy issues that matter most to LGBTQ+ and allied businesses across Washington.
Meeting monthly, council members explore emerging legislation, hear directly from policymakers and subject matter experts, and provide feedback that helps guide GSBA’s advocacy throughout the year.
Council participants represent a broad range of industries and perspectives, bringing expertise in topics such as small business, taxation, workforce development, healthcare, public safety, transportation, housing, economic development, and other issues that strengthen our communities.
The council helps inform GSBA’s legislative agenda, policy positions, testimony, coalition partnerships, and advocacy with local governments, state agencies, and the Washington State Legislature.
