Seattle Seawolves Join GSBA: Strength in Community, Power in Sports

We, the Seattle Seawolves, are proud to join the GSBA. As Seattle’s professional rugby team based in Tukwila, we have worked hard since our founding in 2017 to establish ourselves as a dominant force in Major League Rugby (MLR). Our journey has been marked by back-to-back championships in 2018 and 2019, as well as Western Conference titles in 2022 and 2024.

But our achievements extend beyond the pitch—we’ve been recognized as the Seattle Times’ Best Sports Team in the PNW, nominated for the Seattle Sports Commission’s Sports Story of the Year, and have helped put Seattle on the map as the most talked-about team in MLR.

We’re gearing up for an action-packed 2025 season, running from March through June. Our home matches at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila will feature thrilling rugby action and special theme nights that highlight the diversity of our Seattle community:

Pride Night: A Celebration of LGBTQ Community & Inclusion

On Sunday, June 8, we’ll host Pride Night—an unforgettable evening celebrating the LGBTQ+ community through the power of rugby. The night kicks off with a halftime showdown between two incredible Pride rugby clubs, Seattle Quake and Seattle Mudhens.

The energy will be electric with the Rainbow City Performing Arts (RCPA) marching band bringing the stadium to life. Expect a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere with community partnerships, exciting activations, and more surprises to come!
